For old school Southerners and especially folks from Richmond, VA, Climax sodas were a big thing. The animated Climax sign that once sat atop Belle Isle amidst the James River in Richmond, VA was an iconic landmark. The flashing neon sign with clock perched above greeted automobile traffic for more than thirty years as commuters crossed the Old Lee Bridge into Richmond. In fact, the Climax sign was so prominent that pilots who were trying to land at the Byrd Field Richmond airport used it as a landmark to guide their landing approach from the air! Climax was quintessentially southern, and Richmond, VA loved it. Sadly, both the sign and Climax Beverage Co. were lost to history as the company went out of business in the late 1960s when it was sold by Home Brewing.

Our sister company at Dogtown Brewing Co thought it was about time that the iconic Climax brand should get a second chance. Climax is made and canned at Dogtown Brewing Co in Manchester’s neighborhood of Richmond, VA. We offer Climax sodas up for delivery  to your home or business in 32 oz cans (crowlers to be specific). The Climax Sodas are available in the following options: Two 32 oz Crowlers of Pale Dry Ginger Ale, Two 32 oz Crowlers of Root Beer, or the Sampler which is one 32 oz crowler of each flavor (Two 32 oz Crowlers Total).

The calendar will list the shipping price for each available delivery date separately. Yes, there is a delivery date calendar on our shopping cart page. Select any available date you’d like to have your product arrive! That means you can order now, but have your product arrive at a future date you select.*

*Please note, when you select a desired delivery date, we reserve the right at our sole discretion to ship your package for an earlier arrival date. Shipping packages to arrive on a precise delivery date when using third party shippers such as FedEx/UPS is an extremely difficult task over which we have very little control, especially given weather delays, and periods of high volume. We regularly monitor weather patterns, volume levels, and UPS/FedEx exception frequency. Given our best judgment, we may choose to ship your package early in order to lessen the chances that your package will arrive after your desired delivery date. If a package arrives at a different date than your desired delivery date, we will have no obligation for a full or partial refund of any kind.
