We are thrilled to offer this limited supply of Large Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs! These Large Blue Crabs come spiced and steamed and are approximately 5.5 to 6.25 inches in size (known as #1 Jimmys here at the Chesapeake Bay). We are also offering the following smaller varieties of Blue Crabs:
- Hard Shell Male Blue Crabs (~5-5.5 inch #2 Jimmys)
- Hard Shell Female Blue Crabs (~4.5-5.75 inch #3 Sooks)
Recommended servings are approximately 6 crabs (half dozen) per person. Simply refrigerate upon receipt and when ready to eat, place a steamer basket in a large pot with enough water to reach the bottom of the basket. Once the water is boiling, place the crabs inside, season and cover for five minutes or until the meat is hot throughout. There is nothing more to it!
