Anderson’s Neck is proud to announce that our oysters are being featured at the Virginia Wine and Oyster Classic on Saturday, November 2, 2013 11 am – 5 pm. The event will be located in Irvington, Virginia on the grounds of the Dog and Oyster Vineyard and hosted by the Hope and Glory Inn.

This new culinary event will showcase some of Virginia’s best chefs preparing our oysters in pairing with wines from some of Virginia’s finest winemakers (see the impressive list of participating Chefs & Winemakers). We at Anderson’s Neck are truly honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with such a prestigious group of culinary and winemaking talent-all at one event.

In addition to the specialty pairing of wine and oysters, the Classic will feature wine tastings, ANOC’s oyster bar, “take and carry” bags of raw oysters for onsite tailgating and picnics, fine outdoor prepared seasonal foods and beverages, live entertainment, and boutique booths with specialty food and retail products. The Classic has a maximum capacity of 3,000 attendees and is expected to be sold out. So if you would like to join us for the festivities, please buy your tickets in advance here.
